Today wasn’t really a special day, but since I’ve got the chance, I thought I’d post something anyway.
A project with an old friend, Rayzel, called Antholozy has started. Even though it’s just the two of us, working together with someone on a creative thing is turning out to be kind of fun. It’s been my dream since I was little.
And the whole thing started because of advice from May, my girlfriend. I’ve been creating stuff for a long time, but it was always just for myself. But, you know, if I keep doing that, nobody ever gets to see what I make.
Before I knew it, everything I piled up grew pretty big. I didn’t know anything about stylized art, so I got into anatomy, and now it’s been like, seven years.
Oh right! Tomorrow or so, the test print of the half écorché I’ve been making in resin 3D print should arrive. This is the rendering, but I’m really looking forward to seeing how much of it I can recreate in real life.
While I was making this, I realized I still don’t know enough about anatomy. Especially since I’ve been doing things more in a comparative anatomy kind of way, and now I know I’m lacking knowledge about animal anatomy. I think it’s about time I try reading some veterinary textbooks.
